Nutritional Therapy for Perimenopause & Beyond

There comes a point where your body starts asking for something different. Hormones shift. Energy changes. What once worked… no longer does. You may be experiencing symptoms you don’t fully understand — digestive issues, fatigue, weight changes, anxiety, disrupted sleep — or simply a sense that your body feels out of balance.

This stage of life isn’t something to “push through.” It’s a transition to be supported through.

Hello, I'm Deborah Lee DipION, mBANT & CNHC registered Nutritional Therapist with over 7 years of clinical experience supporting women’s health. My work combines evidence-based nutrition with a personalised, compassionate approach — meeting you where you are and supporting you forward.

If you’re ready to understand your body, feel more balanced, and be supported through this stage of life — you don’t have to do it alone.

I take a functional, holistic approach to your health — looking beyond symptoms to understand what’s happening beneath the surface. Together, we explore the root causes of imbalance across:

Gut health, Hormones, Nervous system, Lifestyle and daily habits. I support you through:

  • Personalised nutrition tailored to you

  • Targeted natural supplementation (where appropriate)

  • Functional testing (when needed)

  • Practical, sustainable changes that fit your lifestyle

This is not about quick fixes — it’s about creating long-term health and resilience.

My Story

For much of my life, I lived fully and fearlessly. Travel, adventure, freedom, partying — I genuinely believed I was invincible. I lived fast, embraced experiences, and rarely stopped to consider my health beyond the surface.

Until my body forced me to.

What began as immense pain and symptoms no one could fully explain eventually led to emergency hospitalisation, where doctors discovered an 11cm tumour and a 4cm ovarian cyst on my right ovary. This resulted in surgery and the removal of my ovary. That experience changed everything.

For the first time, I truly understood that health is not something we can take for granted. The body whispers long before it screams, and I realised how disconnected many of us become from listening to what it’s trying to tell us. That moment became a turning point in my life. It led me onto the path of studying nutritional therapy and dedicating my work to supporting women’s health — particularly hormones, gut health, and the deeper emotional and energetic shifts women experience throughout midlife and menopause.

Having now traversed menopause myself, I understand first-hand the physical, emotional and identity changes that can come with this transition. I also understand how profoundly hormones can affect not just the body, but mood, energy, confidence, clarity and our sense of self.

A Different Perspective on Menopause

Menopause is often spoken about in purely physical terms. But it can also be a profound life transition — a time of change, reflection and recalibration.

A shift not just in the body… but in identity, priorities and direction. My approach recognises both the physical and deeper emotional aspects of this stage, supporting you in a way that feels whole.

For many women, this phase becomes a spiritual journey of sorts — a shedding of old roles, expectations, and ways of living that no longer feel aligned. The body begins asking for something different. Slower. Truer. More connected. And while this transition can feel uncomfortable or uncertain at times, it can also become an invitation to reconnect with yourself more deeply, trust your intuition, and step into the next chapter of your life with greater clarity, authenticity and purpose.

Supporting Lasting Change

True transformation isn’t just about food, hydration, exercise, stress and sleep.

It’s also about the patterns, beliefs and behaviours that shape your choices.

Alongside nutritional therapy, in additional Psych-K® sessions (optional), I gently support clients in:

  • Shifting limiting beliefs

  • Rebuilding self-trust

  • Creating sustainable habits

So that change doesn’t just happen… it lasts.

Client Testimonials

Thanks so much for a great learning experience! Lots of long-held misconceptions were changed into good habits and I now have a far better understanding of how I can be healthy without feeling deprived'.

Sarah, Berkhamsted

'I first came to Deborah after experiencing a number of different symptoms that I couldn't make any sense out of as they all seemed so disconnected. After only one discussion, she was able to identify what the underlying problem was causing all the symptoms, which I was quite amazed (and relieved) by! From there, we discussed my personal goals, which were to lose weight, improve my digestion, and overcome skin problems. With Deborah's guidance, my digestion improved and my skin cleared significantly, and I've lost 12lbs in weight, which I have managed to maintain. My journey is still far from over, but Deborah has helped me and pointed me in the right direction so that I can hopefully overcome my health issues once and for all. I am very grateful for all her input and support over the last few months'.

'I asked Deborah for help at a time when I was stuck in a rut of comfort eating and weight gain, which was making me feel unhappy, and leading to a cycle of more comfort eating in order to 'feel better'. Life was busy (and still is) and I was finding it hard to claw back any time for myself. Deborah helped me remember how to 'pause'; and to bring a focus to my deeper intentions for eating and living healthily. During the programme I lost weight, stopped the snacking, and began to address my work/life balance. The dietary regime that Deborah gave me was easy to follow, understandable and it contained tasty recipes that were simple to make. I can't recommend Deborah highly enough. I say this as someone who started out being keen to do the diet but uncertain about the PSYCH-K; my health is much better for Deborah's intervention'.

'I would recommend Deborah if you are serious about losing weight. Her nutritional support and guidance enabled me to lose over a stone! I am continuing to use Deborah's recommendations on a daily basis to reach my weight loss goal and feel I am reaping the benefits. During the consultation Deborah put me at ease and motivated me to make healthier diet and lifestyle choices, I am very grateful for her help'.

'If you are looking to learn more about nutrition and what works for you I definitely recommend Deborah. Before working with Deborah I was in a cycle of yo-yo dieting and drinking diet shakes, however I now know what whole foods to eat in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle along with supplements for my needs. Deborah has a wealth of knowledge about nutrition and was always there if I needed help and support. I really enjoyed the process and have managed to maintain a healthy lifestyle that works for me!'

Bindiya, Essex

'After being diagnosed with IBS Deborah helped me manage my symptoms with nutritional advice and supplementation. My condition improved and my symptoms persisted to a lesser degree. Thanks to Deborah's analysis and test recommendations, this lead to my G.P diagnosing an underlying health condition that can now be addressed. I can't thank Deborah enough for her advice and persistence, it's such a relief to finally know what's going on'.
